I want tool from highlighting the fonts,bold, italic in text on web pages and pdf . but I know firefox font finder.

Please clarify: are you looking for a way to identify fonts and their attributes on arbitrary web pages as well as in PDF documents? – boot13 Aug 19 '10 at 12:19

If you are trying to find the name of a particular font you have seen, the website WhatFontIs might be able to help.

You upload a sample of the font (this can be from a screenshot) and they will identify the font and recommend a number of commercial and free fonts which most closely match your sample, with links to download them.

There is a similar site called WhatTheFont, but I haven't tried that.
