Amarok used to be great, but now sadly has a horribly complicated UI and crashes all the time.

What good alternatives are there for KDE?

Check out Pana (from this search), it's based on an older UI of Amarok. There is also Clementine music player.

I haven't used Pana, but Clemetine seems like a player I will try soon!

The crowdsourced AlternativeTo is great for this kind of question because it'll post many better alternatives than any one of us humans can.

The nice thing about KDE is that it runs most GNOME apps seamlessly because it can translate the QT theme into a GTK+ theme. I myself use Banshee, but Pana, cuberok, etc. are also fine.

I use cmus:

cmus is a small, fast and powerful console music player for Linux and *BSD.

It's perfect if you prefer a minimal look and fast performances.
