I'm using ubuntu lucid lynx, whenever I want to drag and drop any item to other application..

other application's focus is lost and I've to activate it from task-bar and then drop the item on that application.

is there a way that while I'm dragging, other application should stay with their existing focus like windows :) ?

Right click the title bar or the application on the task bar and select "Always on Top".

I can't do this for each window and for each drag 'n drop, hope later version of ubuntu may have better drag-n-drop support :-) – shahjapan Sep 27 '10 at 17:05
