Looking for Font Manager for large number of fonts, which can temporary install active into system. Commercial or Open Source, doesn't matter. Please recommend.

Your major players are FontExplorer X, FontAgent Pro, and Suitcase Fusion. You'll find proponents and opponents of all three. There aren't really any worthwhile freeware or open source font managers.

There is also Fontcase.
