What is the best Linux flavor for installing and managing subversion server ?

Really, any of them will do the job. If you don't have any preferences or other linux systems set up, I'd recommend Debian, personally. Otherwise, I'd go for whatever you already know and can support.

Ryan - I agree completely: 1. Most of the major distros (Redhat, Ubuntu, SuSE, etc) would be pretty much equivalent 2. What you already happen to know, and/or what you'd feel most comfortable supporting should be the deciding factor – Anonymous Aug 29 '10 at 7:25

Provided it has the necessary packages in it's repos, you could pick any one of them. I use ubuntu, but it's only matter of preference.
