I shared an entire list with a contact, but Remember The Milk documentation states that the list cannot be unshared. Only individual tasks can be shared and unshared. Is there a workaround?

This question is off topic for Super User as it deals with a web application. However, webapps.stackexchange.com is open for business and you should ask this question there. – ChrisF Aug 29 '10 at 16:00

Questions on Super User are expected to generally relate to computer software or computer hardware, within the scope defined in the faq.

I'm afraid this isn't possible, as RTM itself states.

The reason for this is that your contact may have changed the task (e.g. added notes), and 'unsharing' the task would mean that they would lose the changes they made.

What you could do is simply stop using the list altogether and begin working in a new one. At least that's the only reasonable thing I can imagine doing.

Thanks, I ended up moving all the items to another list and then deleting the original list. I needed to preserve the tasks in the list. – Chirag Patel Sep 2 '10 at 15:01
