I recently bought a digital book, and it downloaded in ePub format. This was unexpected, I had figured on getting a PDF.
I haven't any software installed to handle ePub files. Is there Windows software available that I can use to read the book?

Adobe Digital Editions is the standard. If it doesn't have DRM, you can use Calibre's built in viewer. Calibre is awesome open source software that organizes your ebook collection and converts between formats, and more! |

calibre is what i use - handles most common e book formats and hasn't given me any issues. It also acts as a library type application, converts and syncs with many devices. |

I use Adobe Digital Editions. It is good and it supports quite a few e-book readers. |

There's plenty of ePub readers out there. If you use Firefox, you can use that with the following extension: http://www.epubread.com/en/ Otherwise, here's a list of popular ePub readers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPUB#Software_reading_systems |
