I have a number of PDF files that are from the same source but translated into 18 languages. At this point my client asked for named destinations to be added into the PDF files. I have inserted them at the correct places in the english PDF.

Can I now in some way copy & paste, export or batch insert the whole list of destinations to the other PDF files. Or do I need to create the whole listfrom scratch in every translated PDF?

Thanks in advance!

Exactly how did you proceed to insert the named destinations into the PDF? Did you use the pdfmark operator? -- Are the destination names language dependent? – pipitas Sep 6 '10 at 21:39
I used the "Destinations" navigating tab to insert the destinations. The destinations is not language dependent, that is why it would be nice to simply "copy & paste" from the english version. – Charlie boy Sep 7 '10 at 10:37
Can you give us a link to a sample (or a newly-created "dummy" one which has no customer-related info)? This way I could try and come up with a scripted way to export all the named destinations and re-import them to other files with the help of Ghostscript... – pipitas Sep 13 '10 at 11:13
