We currently are using openCats to track potential candidates for my company. as the pace starts to pick up were finding that its not quiet fitting the bill for us.

Does anyone have any suggestions for (bonus point Free) service or software that will let you track resumes / candidates for my recruiting department.

Zoho has a hosted applicant tracking system. In your situation it won't be free, but it's not expensive.
