I bought a monitor on eBay that was advertised as "touch screen". The monitor is a NEC LCD1760V 17" LCD Monitor

I received it, and it seems that the touch screen part functionality was added to the monitor after it was bought (through a third party kit).

The problem is that the interface is a serial interface and a driver CD was not included. I tried plugging it into my machine and the touch screen portion doesn't seem to be recognized.

Any ideas on how I could go about finding a driver for this? Are there any tools for this?

I think your best bet will be to contact the person you purchased it from to get info on the make and model so you can track down the right driver. – JNK Sep 16 '10 at 2:25

File a dispute with your Credit Card on the purchase, that will get the sellers attention. – Moab Sep 16 '10 at 22:33
