i want to know where the taken screen shot is saved in OS X after using cmd+shift+4 and then space ....

They end up on the desktop for me

You might find OS X's Grab application to be more useful (/Applications/Utilities/Grab.app). It allows various kinds of shots and you can specify where to save the resulting files.

you can take screenshoots using:

command + shift + 3(key number)

the screenshoot will be saved on your desktop
