I heard of this Google "Call phone" feature through which we can call any phone in US from gmail for free. I am in US but dont see this feature enabled in my gmail. i even installed "Google voice and video chat" but to no avail. Google's "Call Phone" feature just doesnt show up in my gmail.

Does anyone know how to get it started?

I was in India earlier and have moved to US now. Is it that I need to change my country in my gmail settings somewhere to get this feature or do I need to do something else?

After "googling", It seems that Google has enabled this feature only on selected accounts and is slowly spreading this feature. So, it is not in our hands.

Do you have the chat feature enabled in GMail? If not, then turn it on, as that's where the "Call Phone" feature appears.
