I was thinking, that I maybe should install good old Unreal Tournament again, since I've gut such fond memories of that old game.

So, since I have the Game Of The Year edition, I downloaded the Linux installer, and was hoping I could play in no time.

But for some reason, the installer doesn't recognize my CDs. I tried setting the SETUP_CDROM variable as described here, but it didn't work.

What should I do to install the game?

Actually this IS a good place for installation questions. Once running - then gaming site is definitely the place. My reasoning is that a gaming site might be short on Linux expertise (?) maybe (?). – hotei Sep 20 '10 at 20:47
I'm on StackExchange's sites for a while now, I believe I know what question to put where... This is not a gaming related question, it could be about any software... – polemon Sep 20 '10 at 20:54
