I'm running Firefox 4 beta 6 under windows 7 and it's not showing tooltips (i.e. the ones from XKCD imgs)

I've tried disabling every add-on and the enabling them one by one, I've checked the about:config and the toolbar_tips is set to true.

Any ideas of what's happening or how to fix it?

That answers your question. I would let the Mozilla developers know by filing a bug.

In the meantime, I wouldn't recommend Firefox 4 for everyday browsing until it's hit at least the release candidate phase.

Before you bug-file, go to about:config and confirm that 'browser.chrome.toolbar_tips' is set TRUE. – JRobert Sep 21 '10 at 10:52
@JRobert:Like I said in the question, it is set to TRUE @musicFreak: Yeah I'll file a bug, But I didn't know if anyone had the same problem, thanks (and even with bugs I'd say this firefox beta is way better than firefox 3.6) – vferman Sep 21 '10 at 16:54
@vferman: I agree, Firefox 4 is really something, but I'd still recommend you wait till the RC stage. When I tried it, the beta was quite buggy in some areas, so I decided to go back to 3.6 for now. – Sasha Chedygov Sep 21 '10 at 20:23
