I'm looking for a Windows Mobile text editor that allows editing multiple files in multiple tabs. Preferably freeware. Googling so far found me these ...

  • NanLing's QuickPad - but it uses multiple instances not multiple tabs
  • MobilePad 1.3 - but it is shareware, trial version limited to 160 bytes per tab
  • NeboPad 1.1 - freeware and multitabs but from November 2008

Appreciate any further suggestions.

Sathya, thanks for the edit to the links. Since, I still can't edit/save those links, I'll update my progress on this question here. (1) QuickPad works great, editing multiple files almost as accessible as multiple tabs, after I assigned button 1 to task switcher on my Omnia 2. (2) MobilePad, will install after this. (3) NeboPad crashes out of memory on my Omnia 2. – sabre23t Sep 22 '10 at 6:11
I now see that the FAQ does say <<not about ... cell phones or smart phones, except insofar as they interface with your computer>>. Would it help to rephrase this question to emphasize the necessity for multiple files text editor WM is to edit many small text note files in a folder synchronized via dropbox between my WM device and my WinXP computer? – sabre23t Sep 22 '10 at 15:13
