Looking for recommendations for a free SVN client for OSX, I really like Versions, but just wanted to know if there was a similar client that is as easy to use but also free.

After experimenting with several SVN GUI clients for Mac OS X, I settled on SmartSVN.

We use this at work. Although I don't think its the best client, its pretty good. – Nippysaurus Aug 7 '09 at 2:36

Am I missing something? This doesn't look like a free product. – Nate Aug 7 '09 at 10:55

The Foundation edition of SmartSVN is free-of-charge, even for commercial use. See syntevo.com/smartsvn/purchase.html – las3rjock Aug 7 '09 at 17:07

There's always the command line!

macname:~ User$ svn help

I you happen to use Eclipse, then the Subclipse plugin has given me everything I need in my daily work. And just like the great built-in CVS support, I really like the way Eclipse makes merging incoming changes into your local copy as easy as it could be.

I personally prefer Subversive (its similarity to the Eclipse CVS plugin makes for less training and faster transition) but Subclipse is good too. If only Eclipse itself were more polished... – Quinn Taylor Aug 7 '09 at 23:07

I installed svn (command line) on Tiger using these instructions I also installed svnX. However I prefer to use SVN via command line or via the eclipse plugin subclipse.
