Can I repair it? Help, thanks!

Rule #1... if you don't know what it is, don't delete it. – KronoS Sep 28 '10 at 4:51
A question: Does the keyboard not work, or does your log-in not work? The question doesn't really match with the title, making things...complicated. – Trezoid Sep 28 '10 at 6:14

Typically none of the files in /var/log and /var/cache are absolutely required for the system to work, but their subdirectories and their permissions are critical. You'll need to provide more information to get concrete help, starting with details about your operating system (e.g. version X of distribution Y), what (if anything) you have left, and what (if anything) you have deleted elsewhere. – Gilles Sep 28 '10 at 7:12
login not work,keyboard is good. I use mint 8/LXDE. – chenge Sep 28 '10 at 9:44
After del the dirs and files i found apt-get didnot work. Then I create apt dir, it seems well done. After a sleep, login fails. – chenge Sep 28 '10 at 11:27
