I have registered a FREE blog @wordpress.com today and while i was reading about the service i found that i can use some plugins to make a better use of the blog so i went to my blog's settings and i didnt find anyway to install a new Plug-in..

My question is: is there's a way to upload or add a plug-in to a wordpress's free blog?

free blog means am using wordpress pre-hosted blogs and their free domain service too.

Questions on Super User are expected to generally relate to computer software or computer hardware, within the scope defined in the faq.

You can't for security reasons, if you need plugins you have to host your blog on your own server.

Sorry!

I'd say it's probably because the plugins aren't written by WP, and they run code on the server, so malicious plugins or plugins with problems could stuff around their servers, and we don't want that!
