There are a lot of references (on the web, in books and in manpages) to Sun's processor manuals. The base URL is http://www.sun.com/processors/manuals. However, since Oracle took over the web pages, those URLs doesn't work any longer. And there is no relevant redirect in place.

Does anyone know if those manuals are available somewhere?

Voting to close because this is neither about software nor hardware. This would be better suited for the Oracle Support. –  Bobby Sep 29 '10 at 8:13

Probably look at docs.sun.com –  Sathya Sep 29 '10 at 12:19

I did of course look at docs.sun.com without luck. And I can't see why Sun processor information is not hardware related. Besides, I have asked Oracle without getting any response. I will of course answer myself here if I get any response eventually. –  matli Sep 29 '10 at 12:37

I have received confirmation from Oracle that the information has unfortunately been removed from public access. However, there will be some attempts of restoring access to the documents. –  matli Oct 6 '10 at 16:52
