I want to see things like http://bit.ly/aoe2k0 as http://yannesposito.com/Scratch/en/blog/2009-12-14-Git-vs--Bzr/#what-make-git-by-far-the-best-dcvs-today in my Firefox, so tools like WoT can handle them better. And I want to see details of URL.

Is there already software to do this?

There are several such add-ons for Firefox, such as Long URL Please.

On a completely unrelated note, any URL can be lengthened with services like http://hugeurl.com/...
