Just upload it, YouTube accepts the Shockwave Flash (.swf) format.

I tried uploading .swf file. Youtube accepted the upload and said it was processing but alas when I went to look at it it said "Failed (unable to convert video file)" – IThink Nov 23 '10 at 16:04

I tried uploading .swf to YouTube twice. Both times I got the upload message at 100% yet "Finishing Uploading". The screen was like that for more than an hour the first time. Ultimately I gave up. Next time I gave it more time, like over 2 hours. No results. So I gave up. It seems it cannot be done.

YouTube site recommends AVI, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 files.

Good luck to you. Please inform if you succeed.
