Last night strange things started to happen with my computer. My browser shut down without warning, and AVG popped up to warn me of three different trojan horses that have found their way on to my system.

They were Trojan horse Generic19.AQPN, Trojan horse Downloader.Generic10.XAQ, and Trojan horse Downloader.Generic10.VRN.dropper, named doskeya.exe, libc.exe, and rdgegmrv.exe respectively.

The browser would not restart, a box appeared to say something like "An application is trying to display a messasge", and other odd things happened. All I could do to retore sanity was restart the system.

I have managed to banish them to the virus vault, but I still get strange behavior. When my system starts I receive a message like

There was a problem starting C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\apibilil.dll

Access is denied

The systemprofile folder doesn't exist according to Windows explorer. But what is trying to access this location?

I think I know what brought the malware and have already removed the suspect program.

Have you tried to Repair Windows or tried a System Restore?

Make a bootable AV CD, then boot from it to scan and remove nasties that cannot be removed while booted into Windows.

When that is done use MBAM to do a quick scan to clean up the registry. http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
