MY Access 2007 database wont open on a new Windows XP SP3 64bit PC. The database just flashes on the screen and goes away, closes, crashes. What do I have to do to get it to open? This databse does open on a 32bit PC. After converting my PC to 64bit it nolonger opens at all. No error message, no dialog box, no communication from the app.

What happens when you hold down Shift while opening the file? – Randolph West Oct 14 '10 at 21:21

It will pause and stop the app. I then can view the various categories on left navigation pane.

That suggests the problem has nothing to do with 64-bit Windows. You should try decompiling and recompiling the database on your 64-bit Windows installation. Instructions for that can be found at allenbrowne.com/ser-47.html under the heading "Symptom: 'An error occurred while loading Form_FormName'". – David W. Fenton Oct 16 '10 at 15:42
