Could use a better picture, but it would appear that:
Left: BIOS chip, in your case your motherboard is using PhoenixBIOS. The main aim of the BIOS is to load an operating system. When you turn your computer on, the first job for the BIOS is to initialize and identify system devices such as the video display card, keyboard/mouse, hard drives, cdrom etc, and then loads the operating system, giving the operating system control of these devices.
Middle: CMOS battery. BIOS settings such as time/date as well as configuration settings are stored in a special memory called CMOS. When your computer is off, this battery retains those settings so you don't have to set everything again each time you turn your computer on.
Right: PCI slot. Used for attaching various hardware cards such as network cards, sound cards, tv tuners etc.
