I am using Realtek network adapter, last two days back I got problem from it. The problem is that I am not able to connect to the internet. Then i found that network card not showing a valid looking MAC address, it always shows ff-ff-ff-ff-ff-ff.

how do solve this problem?

define adapter. On the motherboard? I would update the driver, then assume the network adapter is defective. – TomTom Oct 25 '10 at 6:42

Realtek is a brand name. You should edit your question and include at least the full model name of your network adapter. – vtest Oct 25 '10 at 9:41
