Possible Duplicate:
What is your notes taking tool?

I'm looking for an application that's similar to Evernote in taking notes and synching them from any other PC (don't need mobile devices support).

Is there something like this? I particularly like Evernotes screenshot taking capabilities.

How about Evernote? – joeqwerty Oct 28 '10 at 1:08
You want something like Evernote, so why not just use Evernote? You provided no details as to why you want something like Evernote but don't want to use Evernote? "Duh, I want something just like this something but which is not this something". "I want something just like a vanilla milkshake, what is out there?" The answer is a vanilla milkshake. – joeqwerty Oct 28 '10 at 1:21
I added out the 'offensive' part @joeqwerty Anyway, I agree with the basic premise: why would you want something else? Else we don't know what to recommend you @Sergio – Ivo Flipse Oct 28 '10 at 6:07
@Ivo: Thanks much. – joeqwerty Oct 28 '10 at 13:55

OneNote if you're a Windows only guy. Includes a screen clipper thingy, or you can use the snipping tool w/ Vista or Win7. For synch I've had good luck using it with Dropbox...

Granted, there's no free option... – Chris_K Oct 28 '10 at 5:00

While Evernote is by far the most robust of any platform - and it goes to multiple platforms - there are numerous apps that will do at least some of Evernote's features.

For example, Remember The Milk is good for things like notes and to-do lists. On iPhone and iPad devices, apps like Awesome Note and IdeaOrganizer, or Adobe Ideas will do similar things to Evernote - take pictures, record voice, organize, etc.

Google Docs is another means of recording / organizing data, as well as sharing it.
