Security software update causing major problems with wireless internet connection. Any way to remove the update from the hard drive?

What was the exact software update? If you are really referring to Internet Explorer on OS X, you should really look for a new browser since that has now been unsupported by Microsoft for 5 years. – fideli Nov 17 '10 at 19:54
