Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer? I usually only hear of people installing gesture addons for web browsers, not for file browsers. But I guess they are similar in a way. – davr Nov 19 '10 at 19:37
Can you tell us what brand mouse you are using? Some manufacturers provide special drivers packed with extra functionality like gestures. Just depends on the brand. – akseli Nov 20 '10 at 3:25

Gmote would probably be the best program for that. It is not, however, limited by default to windows explorer, though you could probably set it to do so. It can also launch new programs, and do a host of other tasks.

I thought it was pretty neat, but ended up not using it as much as anticipated as I prefer keyboard shortcuts due in part to my RSI.
