I've deleted my iPhone from the network preferences and I've since been unable to add it back. The selection for adding a new network interface doesn't list it as an option.

I want to use it for tethering over USB. Bluetooth tethering works fine.

This is for Mac OS X 10.6.5.

Is this bluetooth tethering? Is bluetooth active on both systems, and is tethering activated on the phone?

Hi NReilingh, bluetooth tethering works fine. It's for the USB cable tethering, I've got the tethering activated. Mac OS X just refuses to recognize the iPhone as a new network interface. – toh yen cheng Nov 20 '10 at 4:47
