i would like to copy to the tmp file on my router and do not know how to SSH it to access it. i am connected to it via lan and am running OSX snow leapoard 10.5.6. pls help

You SSH into a router the same way you SSH into anything else. Make sure SSH is enabled on your router, type SSH into a terminal followed by the IP address of your router, then press enter and type the user name (root) and password when prompted. | |||
