Will my mini laptop (1.6 atom 2G memory) work faster with windows XP or with win-7?

Honestly, Windows and Atom processors are not good friends, though I'd be inclined to think XP will outperform Windows 7, but only slightly. – Randolph West Nov 25 '10 at 5:42

If the question is only about how fast it'll work then with those specs I'd say Windows XP

My Foxconn nettop has specs similar to those and Windows 7 runs fine on it. I imagine Windows XP would run just as well, if not better. So, it's really just a question of which OS you'd rather use. Better yet, install both of them and evaluate the performance difference yourself.
