Today and without any sign, my Documents folder got deleted automatically! I'm really thankful that I backed it up with Time Machine.

Does anyone have any idea what went wrong? (I installed Google Chrome and SwitchProxy extension today, does it have anything to do with it?).

I'm running OS X 10.6.4.

First time's a fluke, second's happenstance, the third's a pattern. Or however the heck that quote goes. – digitxp Nov 27 '10 at 2:05
Did you also install any apple updates? – Force Flow Nov 27 '10 at 4:39
@Force: Every update except for the last update (10.6.5). – Chiron Nov 27 '10 at 5:09
Was there an update you applied right before the documents folder disappeared? – Force Flow Nov 27 '10 at 7:05
Nevermind--this might not apply. The issue I was recalling happened with the 10.6.1 update – Force Flow Nov 27 '10 at 7:16
