my question is this: when i see quicktime embeded mov on my website, it shows with artifacts.. but when i download the movie and watch then they artifacts cant be seen.

with website address: www.guygar.com

without page just a link to a movie clip: http://www.guygar.com/neo/matrix.mov

please offer some advise.

when i play it on windows media player, it renders so dark that the artifacts cant been and anyway i am looking at quicktime for this purpose.

I'm not getting artifacts in gstreamer-plugin or mplayer-plugin. Looks like issues with qt and wmp to me. – aking1012 Nov 30 '10 at 18:51
yeah i was afraid you might say that. the computer i had before also rendered correctly but on other machine no. – ikurtz Nov 30 '10 at 19:01
