I have a usb ir receiver for a logitech keyboard/mouse that is starting to break down. Do I have to get a replacement from logitech are there any universal ir receivers(should I make sure it mentions working for keyboards or do ir receivers for remote controls/ect. also work for keyboards/mice).

May I ask why it was closed? was it the buying recommendation if it was I can take that off I'm mainly interested in whether there are universal ir recievers. – user34682 Dec 2 '10 at 12:02
Unless you're looking to reverse-engineer the protocol Logitech uses for their IR communications, I recommend you simply contact them to obtain a replacement. – oKtosiTe Dec 2 '10 at 12:51
