running squeeze on a 64 bit amd, flashplayer increases playback speed after watching video for a few minutes (the exact time varies). This occurs in all applications which use the flashplayer plugin, including hulu desktop, youtube in iceweasle, et cetera

In order to correct the problem, I close all windows using the plugin, and restart

I was using the nonfree flash plugin, thought that might be the culprit, so I removed it and installed mozilla-flash

and the behavior continues.

Google hasn't helped, haven't seen anyone else with this problem yt. advice?

i would look at the differences between the nsplugin wrapper and flash-nonfree on deb squeeze and ubuntu maverick...it works fine for me on maverick so it's probably a tweak that doesn't get made by debain out of the box – aking1012 Dec 13 '10 at 14:44
Are you running 64-bit Firefox as well? have you tried Chromium to see if it has the same behavior? – Goyuix Aug 29 '11 at 2:02
