I have a HP Pavilion dv6000 Entertainment Notebook. Recently I needed to wipe my computer clean, so I used my "RECOVERY KIT FOR HP PAVILION DV6000 SERIES WITH WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM 32 BIT - 1 SUPER RECOVERY DVD," to restore it back to factory settings. The disc was used once before on my computer to restore my computer back to factory settings when my motherboard overheated, but it was done by the company that my computer is under warranty with. But now when I do it, it goes through the "reformating the windows parition of your hard disk drive" and "reinstalling original settings." Then it ask me if I have any other disc (Super Recovery DVD 1 of 1), if no click "cancel." I click cancel and goes on to say, "click finish to restart your computer." This whole process takes about 25 minutes. When my computer starts up it shows me the HP logo screen and then goes to a black screen with a blinking dash line up in the corner. I have done this twice and still goes to the black screen.
