What is your email client? "software" is not a very informative tag. – harrymc Dec 17 '10 at 10:20
You might consider posting your OS. – Moab Dec 17 '10 at 17:30

Windows XP has that functionality. Just select the files, right-click, copy-to and then select email.

Well, you can install Thunderbird :-) (or rephrase your question to indicate that you want to use a web based solution or something) – Zsub Dec 17 '10 at 10:49
You could use Windows Live Mail – Joe Taylor Dec 17 '10 at 13:29
