ie 32 bit has stopped working on windows 7 64 bit but ie 64 bit is working. It is not allowing me to open flash or even i am not able to download chrome or any other explorer. Error comes as my laptop is not connected to internet when actually it is. Could somebody help me through. Thanks for your time.

Did you check you proxy settings?:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Change-proxy-settings-in-Internet-Explorer
Sometimes viruses or malware will change the settings and antivirus will not set it back. You just need to uncheck the proxy server in your settings.
