Unfortunately my brother in law is using Windows and everytime he chats with me in Facebook, an error box comes up that says "Visual C++ Runtime Error R6034", and refers to the firefox.exe file.

I've looked around the web for answers but normally it results in the response "Use IE", and that's simply not going to happen.

Any help?

It's possible one of your VC runtime .dll files is corrupt. As there anything in the error message indicating which one it might be? You can usually download a fresh copy either from another PC,, or from one of several sites I've seen on the Internet (but be careful if you do the latter -- try to find a trusted source). – martineau Jan 5 '11 at 11:00
