Hey, I am looking for a note taking application to use with my bamboo pen and touch... I am running OS X... Would like to take text and math notes...

Any recommendations??

These are my favourite apps for taking notes with my Axiotron Modbook (basically a tabletized MacBook):

I've used all three, and I'm torn between Pear Note and Notebook. Notational Velocity is very good if you have a $0 budget, but the other two take it a bit further. I find Pear Note is better for incorporating a lot of rich content into notes and has a more polished UI, but Notebook is very powerful for typed & handwritten notes and editing and all that stuff.

I'd advise you to try all three out (there are tons more if you want to try those, too), and decide which one you like best. Hope this helped!

Thanks a lot. I will be trying Pear note and Notebook. I think I will have to stick with Notebook since it is the only one that accepts handwriting? Correct me if I'm wrong – Alex B. Jan 11 '11 at 18:44
@Alex Yes, you are correct. – squircle Jan 12 '11 at 3:24
Other candidates are inkbook and skitch. – qed Sep 25 '14 at 21:28
