my laptop cq45 can't charging when window is running... i mean , the adaptor is charging when the window shutdown... (battery can be use after charging about 2 hours... it's formal). moved the battery and joint with electric directly... can't run the laptop... please me...

Try this:

Disconnect AC

Shutdown

Remove battery

Connect AC

Startup

Open Device Manager

Click the plus (+) sign next to Batteries category,

Right-click all of the "Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery" listings, and select Uninstall In the "Confirm Device Uninstall" dialog box, click OK. (it’s ok if you only have 1 of these).

Click the plus (+) sign next to System Devices.

Right-click the “ACPI Fixed Features Button" and select Uninstall. In the "Confirm Device Uninstall" dialog box, click OK.

Shutdown

Disconnect AC

Insert battery

Connect AC

Startup

i can't use directly with AC... and then... i can't find in System Devices - ACPI Fixed Features Button... just ACPI Lid, Power Button, Thermal zone... that's thz Moab – zmo Jan 11 '11 at 5:28
