I need to track a bunch of specialized testing tools, They are hardware devices used for testing other equipement. Each device has a serial number and is sent out for use in testing. Occasionally they break and have to be sent to the manufacture for repair.
I'm looking for an open source application (preferably a webapp) to help manage them.
Right now we're using Excel and it's not scaling as we get more tools.
They aren't computers so all the standard IT asset management systems don't really fit the bill. I found h-harmony, but that project seems dead?
