The fan on my Asrock N68-S UCC is not shutting off when i power of the computer.... i have connected all the necessaries based on the book

Did you try pulling out the power cord after the computer it shut off? I would just be curious of what it does, I would then plug the power cord back in and see if the fan comes back on before you turn the computer on. XD It would have to be a BIOS setting just as @DanMcGrath said. – David Jan 11 '11 at 20:48

When you boot your computer, enter the BIOS setup utility. There should be an option to do with staying off after a power failure when the power comes on.

This should solve your issue.
