Is there any software for Windows 7 which notifies me when Battery is full... Windows 7's default notifier notifies me when it's low...but I want one which notifies (pops up) at 100%.

I want to maximize my battery life.

Any links?

Thanks but It is just an indicator, not a notifier... – Babban Shikaari Jan 13 '11 at 2:35
FWIW, from what I've read about rechargeable batteries, they'll last longer if you let them discharge (a lot) before recharging them again -- the exact opposite of what you apparently want to do. I've even seen recommendations of manufacturer's websites saying to let them run almost or completely down at least once a month to maximize both their efficiency and lifespans. – martineau Jan 13 '11 at 3:35
What I am trying to do is, I should be able to plug-out the power as soon as it gets fully charged, and thus do not want to over-charge it. – Babban Shikaari Jan 13 '11 at 4:09

It looks like you could write your own software using the Win32 API for monitoring the system battery's power. – martineau Jan 13 '11 at 19:13

Well, some of these programs does not show dialog/balloon popups, but they show icons and other visual effects that indicate when battery is fully charged:

I recommend the first, because it shows CPU and HDD temperatures, shows the real time to discharge when your battery is "damaged", show some balloon popups, can disable some windows features when using battery, show numeric info in tray (notification area) when using battery, remember about calibration and has a single and good help about batteries :)
