I tried visio, but the chart is to raw. Any good recommendation ?

I dont understand the objection to Visio, or the purpose. What are you intending? Visio is our basic tool in consulting and client services. It's a common language and essential skill to master. – ddri May 11 at 7:54

I've been using OmniGraffle for all kinds of graphs, and the results always look great. There are web sites providing additional graphics (or "stencils") for OmniGraffle, such as Graffletopia.

Mac OS X only.

yEd Graph Editor is free and smooth to use. I haven't touched Visio since I found this.
