I was wondering on how did the bios system date change to a week ago while the system time was not affected and still the same as well as the time zone config. Was this cause by the bios battery is weak? Or Perhaps, someone did manually change the system date?

Can anybody give me second opinion on this issue?

It's unlikely, simply because the date and time are probably stored in the same field in the BIOS. How wrong was the date? – Randolph West Jan 25 '11 at 1:50
I'm curious why you originally posted this on Stack Overflow. @Randolph: "to a week ago". – Dennis Williamson Jan 25 '11 at 1:51
@Dennis, thanks for the clarification. I think I need my eyes tested. I thought it said "I noticed this happen a week ago". – Randolph West Jan 25 '11 at 2:08
