alright, so I was doing what I normally do on a computer when I wanted to watch a youtube video, I went on youtube to find it, I load it, and the audio quality is terrible, absolutely terrible, so I use Dell Reset Tool, it restarts my computer and when it is done, I try to raise the volume but it doesn't let me, after going to device manager I can't find my sound card so I restart my computer manually, after that it detects it I start the video again and now I have lousy quality with scratches and it sounds like someone is breathing into the microphone, this has never happened before, although the computer has once not detected my sound card, the quality I get now is better then what I had at the beginning of my problem but still bad

Do other programs play sounds properly? your media player, for example. – jcrawfordor Feb 3 '11 at 1:20
