So erm, I have this friend right...

And they have an application that has to be persuaded that it is in one country, when in fact it's in another. My friend uses a proxy for this.

The proxy doesn't work with another app though.

Is there any way (preferably freeware) that allows for per-application proxy settings?

EDIT: Not that I approve of bypassing geographic restrictions, but the application in question seems to be Spotify. (The one that requires the "normal" configuration is Dropbox.)

What's the program? This can be relevant simply because some apps let you set a proxy specifically for them, and even if this one doesn't there may be an alternative that does. – Shinrai Feb 8 '11 at 19:13
