distcc with serial cable or usb

Has anybody cross-compiled with distgcc where the host and target are connected through a serial or usb cable?

	Why not network them together? Serial will probably be too slow even at 115200bps; you'll spend more time transferring than compiling. – pjc50 Feb 10 '11 at 17:32

	Get a usb to ethernet adapter. They're like $5 on Ebay. You could run PPP over the serial port, but it will be slow. – ultrasawblade May 5 '11 at 17:01
