How popular, in terms of availability on private desktops/laptops and office PC's, are PDF readers? In other words, what percent of machines can open PDF files without fuss?

Well @Daniel - there is one from Adobe from Flash (95%, was it ?) - but it's guesswork than anything else. I don't think there's any way of answering this. – Sathya Feb 16 '11 at 17:35
